Mélanzé

Creating differently

A regenerative culture lab in Senegal — publishing, music and community projects under the baobabs.

"We believe in bridges, not walls. In fertile margins, not rigid centers. In the beauty of living things, in all their diversity."

The land

The place

One hectare in Thiafoura, a village near Somone. Red laterite soil, centuries-old baobabs, birdsong at dawn. This is where Mélanzé takes root — between small-scale fishing, family farming and a generation on the move.

300 m² of sustainably built spaces in adobe, recycled wood and thatch. Fully off-grid for energy and water. The soil is coming back to life, trees are growing, imaginations are regenerating.
